Flag Emoji
Copy and paste flag emoji for every country and region, plus rainbow, pirate, finish and other special flags such as πΊπΈ, π΅π± and π. Free, in your browser.
How it works
Each emoji comes with an official name from the Unicode emoji list and a set of keywords from the Unicode CLDR project. The search shows an emoji when every word you type appears in its name or keywords (capitals do not matter), or when you paste the emoji itself. Whole-word matches in the name come first, then whole-word matches in the keywords, then partial matches, and short names before long ones. This page shows the Flags group: country and territory flags, a few regional flags, and special flags such as the chequered flag and the rainbow flag. Click or tap an emoji to copy it. Emoji with skin tone variants are listed once, in the standard form.
Example: type βpolandβ to find π΅π±, or βrainbowβ for π³οΈβπ.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I see letters instead of a flag?
A country flag emoji is made from two invisible regional indicator letters, for example P and L for Poland. Windows has long shown these as the two letters instead of a flag, because its emoji font has no flag designs. Phones and Macs show the flag.
Are all countries included?
The group has the flags of countries and territories in the Unicode list, the flags of England, Scotland and Wales, and special flags. Search the country name to check one.
Is the list a statement about countries?
No. It follows the Unicode emoji list, which is based on standard country codes. It does not take a position on any political question.
Is my search sent to a server?
Search runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
